Rhode Island College offers more than 90 undergraduate and 30 graduate programs, including a wide range of programs in business, education, nursing, social work, and the arts and sciences.

Faculty of Arts and Sciences

Our Arts and Sciences faculty cultivate the intellectual growth of their students, and are committed to excellence in teaching. They ​offer 32 majors and 39 minors across the social sciences, sciences, mathematics, humanities and the arts to address the needs of a highly diverse student body.

Our Education and Human Development faculty are responsible for designing, developing and implementing programs that prepare professional personnel for educator and counseling roles in schools and social service agencies that serve the needs of the diverse communities of Rhode Island.

Our Business faculty put theory into practice every day. Grounded in the liberal arts, they combine core business and management competencies, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills across their departments.
